Copilot can generate grain marketing reports for you to send to your clients and help farm businesses better understand their sold position.
These reports are unique to individual farm businesses and are designed to provide your client an overview of the following information:
- Crop Summary — This section will summarize the total marketable crop profile for farmer’s different commodities. It will include crop quantities, sold position, quantity of open offers, and unsold quantity. You can also find quality notes written in Copilot here.
- Contracts — A list of of all Contracts for the specific commodity, including any appropriate details and comments.
- Offers — Similar to the Contracts section, but showcasing a farmer’s open Offers and including any offer expiration dates.
Creating Reports
Reports can be created manually by navigating to the Client List tab and selecting the client who you want to generate the report for, or by using the Add ‘+’ icon in the navigation bar and selecting the Generate Report option.
If you select Generate Report from the navigation add ‘+’ icon, you will need to select the client farm you want to generate the report for and then select the preferred unit type. On the client profile page, select the Generate Report button to begin the report request. This method will pre-select the client farm you will generate a report for.
Continue by confirming the correct farm business is selected and by selecting the unit type for the report. When ready click the Generate.
You will then be taken to a report preview page where you can choose to download the report as a PDF file, or send a PDF file directly to your client via email.
Scheduled Reports
Copilot can send regularly scheduled reports on your behalf to clients. The schedule for these automatic reports will be established as part of your Copilot onboarding. You can choose to have reports scheduled on a weekly, monthly, or quarterly basis.
