How to connect your Combyne account to the John Deere Operations Center
Connecting your Combyne and John Deere Operations Center accounts will make it easier to automate and easily access all your farm’s most important data where you need it most. Take your grain marketing to the next level by empowering your marketing decisions with field data, and save time typing by automatically importing your projected or harvested totals as marketable crops.
Follow these simple instructions to connect John Deere Operations Center and Combyne today!
Setup Instructions
Step 1
Log in to your Combyne account through the app or by visiting combyne.ag in your web browser. Select your profile photo icon, and go to Account Settings. Then, select Integrations.
Step 2
On the Integrations page, choose JD Ops Center . You will then be prompted to review what data will be retrieved from John Deere. When ready, select Connect.
Step 3
Log into your John Deere Operations Center account and you will be prompted to review what data is shared with Combyne. Select Allow Access when ready.
Once authorized, you will need to complete the connection by assigning your organization in the John Deere Operations Center itself. Within John Deere Operations Center select Setup on the main navigation, and then select Connections. Here you will see a banner message that says “please complete incomplete connections” as shown below:
Click the Select Organizations link (or press the Status icon), and John Deere Operations Center will show you available connections that need to be completed. Select the Select Organizations button on the Combyne Ag card.
A pop-up window will appear where you can read further a short list of Frequently Asked Questions and you can now select the organization name you want Combyne to import data from, and once selected you can now click Save. A Connection Added message will be displayed when your connection is complete.
Step 4
Return to the Combyne app and you will be prompted to import your data. Select Start Importing if you’re ready to add your data from the John Deere Operations Center.
Importing your crop data from the John Deere Operations Center can also be selected whenever you add marketable crop within Combyne.
Whenever you import crop information from the John Deere Operations Center, you will be asked to select a crop year you want to import. Select the year of projected or harvested crop data you want to import and then click the Import button.
Step 5
Combyne will begin importing your crop data. You will be notified by email when your crop data import is ready for review.
Once prompted, you can review the imported crop information and adjust any harvested quantities or projected yields as needed. When ready select Save to complete your import.
