How to connect your Combyne account to Climate FieldView
Connecting your Combyne and Climate FieldView accounts will help empower your marketing decisions with your field data, save you time typing by automatically importing your harvested totals, and get better insights so you can manage your marketed position and contracts the way you want to.
The Combyne and Climate FieldView integration currently allows you to retrieve harvest activities, planting activities and field information data from FieldView and import it into your Combyne account.
Follow these simple instructions to connect Climate FieldView and Combyne today!
Setup Instructions
Step 1
Log in to your Combyne account through the app or by visiting combyne.ag in your web browser, select your profile, and go to Account Settings. Then select Integrations.
Step 2
On the Integrations page, choose Climate FieldView. You will then be prompted to review what data will be retrieved from FieldView. When ready, select Connect.
Step 3
Log into your Climate FieldView account and you will be prompted to review what data is shared with Combyne. Select Allow when ready.
Step 4
Return to the Combyne app and you will be prompted to import your data. Select Start Importing if you’re ready to add your data from FieldView.
Step 5
Select the option to Bulk import from FieldView. Importing your crop data from FieldView can be done in two ways:
- Importing your Total Yields can be done by selecting past years or harvested amounts for the current year.
- Importing your Planted Acres by selecting future years or projected amounts for the current year.
After selecting the years you want to import, then click or tap Import.
Step 6
Syncing the data between FieldView and Combyne may take a few moments. When the data is ready, you can review it in your import inbox:
After selecting the imported crop to review, you can adjust details such as dockage. When ready, select Confirm and Save.
Planted acres that are imported will also need to be reviewed. You will need to add your projected yield per acre to save your projected marketable crop in Combyne.
Completing the review means your crop data has been successfully imported into Combyne!
Frequently Asked Questions
What if I want to disconnect my Combyne and Climate FieldView accounts?
Disconnecting your accounts can be done any time. To disconnect your accounts go to your Account Settings in Combyne, select Integrations, then select FieldView. There you can remove the connection between your accounts by selecting Disconnect.
Will my FieldView information be automatically updated in Combyne, or will my Combyne information automatically be sent to FieldView?
No. You will need to initiate any data or crop information you want to share from FieldView to Combyne. This is done through the initial importing if your marketable crop at setup or when you add crop normally in Combyne, keeping you in control of when your information is shared.
I connected my Climate FieldView and Combyne accounts before, but how do I add crops now?
If you have connected your accounts, then you will be prompted to pull data from FieldView when you add crops in Combyne, or when you mark your projected yields as harvested.
